Justin Bieber Said His Relationship With Kendall Jenner Was Never Serious
Justin Bieber recently sparked a great deal of discussion amongst his fans when he posted a picture with Kendall Jenner. The pair have been friends for years, but a number of people have still hopped in Bieber’s comments to share their thoughts. Some believe the photo is disrespectful to Bieber’s wife, Hailey, as he reportedly used to date Kendall. Years ago, though, Bieber said their relationship wasn’t ever serious.

In a recent photo shared to his Instagram, Bieber sits at an LA bar with Jenner. While he holds a glass and furrows his brow, she leans in close to tell him a story. In the comments, some people have chastised Jenner for standing so close to the “Daisies” singer, while others have scolded Bieber for posting a photo with another woman.
One commenter wrote, “Weren’t these two together at some point,” accompanied by a crying laughing emoji. While both Bieber and Jenner have remained tight-lipped on the subject over the years, he once hinted that they had been romantically involved.
In a 2015 interview with Billboard, Bieber addressed his frequent outings with Jenner. He told the outlet that things were never serious between the two of them.
Kendall Jenner reportedly worried about Justin Bieber’s marriage to Hailey Bieber
Based on the photo, Jenner seemed to be enjoying spending time with Bieber. Some recent reports stated she felt worried about her longtime friend and his marriage, however. Over the summer, many people speculated about Bieber’s well-being. One source said Jenner and her sister, Kylie, were among the concerned.
“Kylie and Kendall know Justin better than anyone, and they also know how unhappy Hailey is at the moment,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Her fairytale is not the fairytale that she envisioned.”
The source went on to add that Jenner wanted to do everything in her power to help her friends.
“Kendall’s been desperately trying to persuade Hailey to get a group of their close friends together to do an intervention for Justin,” they claimed. “She wants to help their marriage.”
Despite this, Bieber and Hailey have been adamant that things are good between them.
Hailey Bieber is good friends with Kendall Jenner
Jenner has been friends with Hailey for over a decade. They met at The Hunger Games premiere in 2012. Hailey was friends with Kylie, but “realized that I was more fun,” Jenner joked. They’ve bonded over their shared experiences.
“I feel like both you and I have experienced — whether it be business, like self, love, like whatever it is — like, I feel like we’ve both seen each other, like, thrive at different times than others…and we’ve been there for each other through it all and not, like, let it get in the way of our friendship,” Jenner said on Hailey’s Who’s in My Bathroom? series.
Notably, during the episode, they were asked if they’d ever kissed the same person during a game of Never Have I Ever. They both chose to down a shot of tequila rather than answer the question.
