Saved by the Bell
Saved by the Bell is an American teen comedy that originally aired from 1989 to 1992 on NBC. It stars actors Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Dustin Diamond, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, and Lark Voorhies as high-school friends Zack Morris, A.C. Slater, Samuel “Screech” Powers, Kelly Kapowski, Jessie Spano, and Lisa Turtle.
The Bayside High School students navigate homework, dating, and everyday teen challenges while frustrating their principal, Mr. Belding, played by Dennis Haskins. Saved by the Bell is mostly lighthearted but sometimes tackles serious topics like drug use, environmental issues, and women’s rights.
